Transforming Office Space for the New Way to Work

Of all the ways the workforce is changing, the rise of the remote workforce is perhaps the most dramatic. As Kate Taylor wrote for Forbes, “The 9 to 5 job may soon be a relic of the past, if Millennials have their way.”
The next generation of employees prioritize flexibility, connectivity and remote working. As they learn to ride safely, a new workplace design can adapt to their needs. Flexible workspaces help employers cater to the needs of workers whose time in the office, as well as their needs when they’re there, change from day to day.
But what does this mean in terms of designing for the new office space? While it might sound like the premise of a sci-fi movie, a “morphed” building just may describe the workplace of the future.
